Government Relations & Advocacy for Tree Care Professionals
The Association of Tree Care Professionals (ATCP) advocates to ensure small and mid-sized tree care businesses have a strong voice in policy decisions that shape their operations, safety practices, and growth opportunities. Larger corporations often have full-time government relations teams. Smaller tree care companies deserve the same representation from an organization that understands their challenges and stands for their interests.
Our advocacy team monitors legislation at the federal, state, and local levels that directly impacts tree care professionals. This includes OSHA safety standards, environmental regulations, workforce development initiatives, and other policies that influence how arborists and business owners operate. ATCP maintains open communication with policymakers to make sure regulations reflect the realities of running a tree care business, not just the priorities of major corporations.
The ATCP leadership are dedicated advocacy specialists who focus exclusively on representing members before regulatory agencies and legislative bodies. These professionals combine technical knowledge of arboriculture with experience in the legislative process, giving our members a credible voice in policy conversations that matter.
