3. Environmental Guardianship

Tree care professionals shall act as stewards of the natural environment, promoting the health of trees, conserving ecosystems, and practicing sustainable arboriculture that benefits present and future generations.

4. Respect for Clients and Community

Tree care professionals shall treat every property, client, and community with dignity and respect, conducting themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and responsibility in all circumstances.

Tree care professionals shall maintain and advance their knowledge, skills, and certifications through continuous education and training, ensuring their work is guided by the highest professional standards.

6. Fair and Transparent Practices

Tree care professionals shall employ written contracts that clearly define the scope of work, responsibilities, and costs. They shall establish pricing that is transparent, justifiable, and reflective of professional standards, ensuring clients fully understand the services to be provided.

7. Responsibility and Accountability

Tree care professionals shall accept full responsibility for their work and its outcomes, correcting deficiencies promptly and honoring all commitments to clients, colleagues, and the public.

8. Confidentiality and Discretion

Tree care professionals shall respect and protect the confidentiality of client, employee, and company information, disclosing only what is necessary, authorized, or legally required.

9. Commitment to Industry Advancement

Tree care professionals shall actively contribute to the elevation of arboriculture by upholding standards, mentoring others, and advancing education, safety, and ethics within the industry.

10. Integrity in Insurance and Claims

Tree care professionals shall conduct all insurance-related work with honesty, accuracy, and compliance with law and standards, refraining from exaggeration, underreporting, or misconduct that diminishes trust in the industry.
