Frequently Asked Questions

We have put together some of the most frequently asked questions below.

Question 1: What is the goal of ATCP and how will it be accomplished?

Our goal for this association is to provide a unified voice for the tree industry, by the tree industry.

In the immediate we will focus on emergency type work by lobbying for new legislation, vetting and recommending law firms, education, and ensuring our industry has representation and a voice in front of government, and other opportunities that present themselves.

Question 2: Will we be hosting an event or expo?

Yes, we are in talks with others on hosting events and expos.

We do not have exact dates or time, but it is something we are actively pursuing.

Question 3: Are board members receiving salaries?

No. The board members are donating their time expertise, and/or resources to the organization to support our industry.

Question 4: Will the group have requirements/standards to abide by for its members to be allowed to join ?

We are looking at open enrollment, but rules to remain. We intentionally decided not to limit people who lacked certain professional characteristics, to instead, work with them to promote and develop. Certain lack of character, illegal, or malicious activities, will be reviewed to determine the severity of the corrective action, including dismissal. We will develop committee’s that would help establish and integrate ethics.
